Idylle by Guerlain c2009

Idylle by Guerlain: launched in 2009 as an eau de parfum and an extrait de parfum, and created by Thierry Wasser. The eau de toilette was launched in 2010.





From Guerlain:
"Idylle... Light and airy, an unforgettable love affair, an impulse, an ecstasy. It is waking up with a smile and going to sleep with a memory. It is a thousand details, words and kisses. It is ardour and intensity. Created in 2009 by Thierry Wasser, Guerlain House Perfumer, Idylle is a love dream by Guerlain."

Fragrance Composition:


So what does it smell like? It is classified as a floral fragrance for women.
  • Top notes: litchi, Plessis Robinson rose, raspberry and freesia
  • Middle notes:Bulgarian rose, lilac, peony, lily, jasmine and lily of the valley
  • Base notes: patchouli and white musk

Fate of the Fragrance:


The success of Idylle has spawned several flanker scents:
  • Idylle Eau Sublime (2011)
  • Idylle Duet (2011)
  • Idylle Duet Jasmin-Lilas (2012)
  • Idylle Duet Rose-Patchouli (2014) 
  • Idylle Love Blossom (2014)

As of 2016, the Idylle Parfum (Extrait) has been discontinued by Guerlain.
